Does a water birth mean your baby is actually born underwater? Why don't the babies then drown?
hey betsy! welcome. yes, the baby is born underwater. the temp. of the water is set to be about the same as the amniotic fluid (there's an internal heater in the walls of the birthing pool). i'll do a little post about it tonight. :)
